GRM US Property Claims is actively searching for a focused self starter to join its Property Analytics group. This position works with business leaders with an overall goal of using analytics to generate actionable insights that will improve profitability, drive expense reductions, and increase employee engagement and customer satisfaction. In this role you will utilize research, analytics and statistical techniques to frame and answer operational and strategic questions from Property senior management and executive leadership. You will be able to function with a phenomenal deal of independence, work collaboratively and possess advanced analytical abilities.

 

At the onset, the primary responsibility for this role will be to have end-to-end ownership of accelerating the expansion of data availability and accessibility within Property to enable the discovery of actionable insights throughout the organization. You will be responsible for the end-to-end project management which includes developing the vision, reviewing current state, building a roadmap, working with key partners to influence and execute strategies.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end creation, project management and execution of the Property Analytics data and reporting roadmap.
  • Support the Property Claims organization through ongoing analysis of operational results, strategic initiatives, and business questions.
  • Independently lead high complexity projects designed to provide key insights to drive business results.
  • Identifies and monitors business trends and issues to provide recommendations to senior management on Property's performance.
  • Based on analysis, develops reports, proposals for action or implementation plans as necessary and presents to management. Communicates with other departments as necessary.
  • Collaborate across the Property organization to estimate and quantify the impacts of key initiatives. Drive projects to execution and implement a robust plan for measuring success.
  • Monitor and measure results relative to planned and forecasted outcomes to validate recommendations.
  • Present analysis on a regular basis to Property leadership team.
  • Performs or coordinates special projects and ad hoc analyses as requested.
  • Lead own work streams on some projects. Oversee aspects of moderately complex projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required. MS or comparable professional/technical experience in a quantitative field strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated project management of moderately complex projects involving data and/or reporting
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in finance, planning, reporting, project management or other analytical roles preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, modeling, and research skills
  • Proven track record of working with large datasets or willingness and strong desire to learn
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for exchanging information across multiple levels of management
  • Demonstrated experience querying and analyzing complex data sets
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power Point, Excel, and SAS. Knowledge of Power BI or similar tools preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI, Microstrategy or similar database tools preferred
  • CPCU Preferred
