Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to develop, implement, and manage the process of ensuring business and operational resilience and preparedness during and after crises and disasters. This includes defining, socializing and developing a comprehensive Supplier BC program to support and advise accountable parties on conducting supplier tests/exercise and the appropriate treatment of identified risks resulting from Business Continuity exercises or actual events.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities for the business to decrease their risk profile and increase their ability to recover in the event of a disaster, including but not limited to the following: New facility and lease locations; Single point of failure within the business process; Vendors provision of continuity plans; Offshore risk analysis; Regular testing of capabilities and preparedness. Promote, educate and influence business partners in the importance of risk management in their contingency and recovery planning, including the preparedness of operational risks.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships. Serve as partner and resource with regard to risk management. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure development and agreement regarding business continuity policy, scope, goals and objectives; facilitate the development, implementation and communication of detailed work plans.
  • Assist in the review, development and administration of Business Continuity policies and standards. Consult with LOB Business Contingency representatives to ensure contingency plans are comprehensive.
  • Mature existing supplier table top exercises, coordinate supplier business continuity testing and exercises, document results and action items and facilitate Supplier Business Continuity reviews.
  • Develop a strong business continuity compliance culture and further develop the program's effectiveness.
  • Ensure BC risks are understood and included in the Annual BC Review and Sign-off process. Support and advise accountable parties on the appropriate treatment of identified risks resulting from Business Continuity exercises or actual events.
  • Assist in the design, enhancement, implementation, and/or monitoring of business continuity controls stemming from Corporate Audits or internal reviews.
  • Support the Archer eGRC Platform and partner in the continued roll out of the Archer eGRC Business Resiliency solution as directed and integration with Ariba.



Minimum Qualifications
7 years of related professional experience required.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing a BC/DR program in a large enterprise.
  • Experience implementing business continuity solutions.
  • Experienced with managing multiple crisis situation for a large enterprise.
  • Executive level communications and presentation experience.
  • Understands and is experienced with the linkages between IT and business recovery and the tools available to automate BC/DR processes.
  • Working knowledge of industry standards, and familiarity with implementation issues related to regulatory and other requirements.
  • Professional designation preferred (ABCP, CFCP, or CBCI), or advanced degree in Business Continuity field preferred.
