Job Description
Allstate Business Insurance (ABI) is currently hiring Customer Service Representatives to join our team in Chandler, AZ. The Customer Service Rep is a licensed individual who will answer complex customer inquiries and resolve complex service concerns in order to support customers. Service to customers will include inbound/outbound calls and internal call transfers for cross-sales and up-sales, mail or fax transactions. If you are not licensed, that is ok! We pay for the training and license!
Work Schedule:
- Start Date: May 3rd, 2019 if need to be licensed (Start date may vary based on license and experience. Will discuss more in interview.)
- Training Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm MST, Monday-Friday (8 weeks)
- Work Schedule: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm MST, Monday-Friday
Compensation and other relevant information:
- Salary: $35,817.60 yearly

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing exceptional day-to-day routine consultation, service and support to agents via phone and email
- May review policies, resolve complex billing, coverage and service questions/issues and refers other inquires to appropriate areas as needed
- Responsible for promotion of products and services through daily interactions with agents via phone and email
- Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of specific company products to portray confidence and credibility to customers and assume ownership
- Proactively identifies and acts on cross-selling opportunities to increase household penetration and improve customer retention, applying effective selling and influencing techniques
- Accuracy in processing changes to customer policies which require an agents license
- Answers customer inquiries that require an agents license on coverages, limits and deductibles, and reviews customer policies, discusses options and updates customer policy records
- Pre-screens for new business during routine customer calls
- Develops subject matter expertise and remains current on new marketing campaigns to respond appropriately to marketing related inquiries
- Enables the service center to meet its customer satisfaction and business performance goals Through daily interactions, trains and supports the agent on ABIs platform
- Increases retention by speaking with agents/customers, highlighting the features/ benefits and making policy changes as needed.
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly and yearly performance standards such as first call resolution, phone call service level, customer satisfaction and call quality. Performs system documentation as it relates to service inquires and follow-up on existing policies in force
- Provide Market direction based on risk characteristics and selects appropriate alternatives from options that are clearly defined, but may involve uncommon variations
- Product SME for ABI system and products and conveys information in a concise and professional manner
- Increase FCR for agent satisfaction
Job Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in customer service, insurance, agency or contact center preferred Demonstrate a broad level of understanding of the insurance markets and the lines of business available at the carrier level
- Property and casualty (P&C) license preferred
- Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- Possession of high energy and positive attitude.
- Ability and desire to assist customers/agents
- Motivated to be successful and achieve goals
- Requires property and casualty license for state(s) in which you live, work and service
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Basic PC aptitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Internet proficiency
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus
