Job Summary
Partner with business and technology leadership to execute/deliver analytics capability by:

Create a robust Travelers-wide Analytics architecture strategy that aligns to the Analytics Strategic imperatives. These imperatives are as follows: Enterprise Data Management, Advanced Analytics, Information Delivery and Artificial Intelligence. Development of goals and strategy by conducting capability impact assessments, articulating and assessing Travelers' Line of Business priorities to design reference and implementation architectures to support the enterprise. Establish a culture of analytic innovation and disruption by providing cross-industry insight on operations and best practices. Develop a best-in-industry solution architecture utilizing Artificial Intelligence, Cloud (Public / On- Premise) and machine learning as well as experimentation with emerging technology to positively impact Travelers' operational and analytic proficiency.

This role is responsible for developing and leading an Enterprise Business Intelligence and Analytics Architecture practice. Creation/Development of approaches to support Continuous architecture with a nimble, MVP approach. Additionally, this role establishes strong partnerships with business, IT and functional leadership and provides direction and guidance to bridge strategy to execution.

This job is a Manager of managers: Senior level manager that is responsible for managing the objectives, performance, and compensation of other Analytics architects. This job works under Broad Oversight: Receives guidance in terms of broad goals and overall objectives and establishes the methods to attain them. Generally the incumbent is in charge of an area of work and typically formulates policy for this area, but may have final authority for approving policy.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Influences organizational direction in strategically complex and/or sensitive environments
Partners with business to support strategy development
Oversees, designs, leads, and/or conducts capability assessments (all levels of complexity)
Designs business and operating model
Establishes and monitors traceability and linkage between design and execution planning
Supports ongoing improvement of the design over time
Provides thought leadership on developing the Analytics Architecture discipline
Identifies and designs enhancements to the analytics architecture toolset and/or service offerings
Identifies and pursues Analytics Architecture team and talent development opportunities
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required. 6 years of experience in enterprise, application, and/or information architecture required. 3 years of experience managing others and/or technical teams.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
9+ years of demonstrated experience leading teams, with thorough knowledge of business intelligence and analytics, process improvement, organization transformation, and/or business strategy development within complex organizations and business environments. Thorough knowledge of analytics architecture tools and concepts.
