How This Role Contributes to Brighthouse Financial:

An Internal Wholesaler focuses on driving sales of Brighthouse Financial annuities in collaboration with a Regional Sales Vice President/s. Our Internal Wholesalers are responsible for proactively creating a valuable advisor experience that will further develop existing relationships and build new ones. We are focused on helping clients achieve financial security with certainty and confidence, while promoting the Brighthouse Financial brand and increasing market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with a Regional Sales Vice President/s to develop and execute on territory sales plan
  • Cultivate new annuity sales opportunities and further develop existing financial advisor relationships within the focus list. Conversion of advisors through annuity sales process.
  • Help coordinate and execute territory marketing campaigns, call campaigns, and other sales activities that drive territory growth
  • Effectively utilize sales and marketing resources to increase annuity market share
  • Track and report proactive/reactive activity metrics, document all in CRM system
  • Provides reactive sales support on incoming calls, as subject matter expert on all annuity solutions
  • Takes accountability for outstanding issues in territory until resolution is reached
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Self-motivated and proven track record of exceeding performance expectations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and territory management skills
  • Thorough knowledge of annuity product offerings and driven for results
  • Ability to maintain business relationships through high level of sales and service support
  • Bachelors degree or 1+ years of comparable annuity wholesaling experience
  • FINRA Series 6 or 7, Series 63 or 66, and resident insurance licenses required. All 3 licenses required
