Job Description
Are you passionate about talent and how technology can drive business innovation? Allstates STEM and Emerging Skills Recruiting team is a critical contributor to the companys talent management function. We deliver highly sought-after talent to support the companys fast-growing technology and innovation-led lines of business.
We collaborate with and advise the business on how to meet their most pressing talent goals. We provide impactful research, sourcing, outreach, recruiting, screening and engaging with candidates throughout the full recruitment lifecycle. The team works closely with HR business partners and key business leaders to implement creative talent management programs that ultimately help Allstate meet its strategic business objectives.
You will recruit technology talent across Allstates primary talent centers in Charlotte, NC; Irving, TX and the Chicagoland area. Based out of our Irving, TX office, you will demonstrate functional knowledge of recruiting and talent attraction, along with extraordinary client-facing and communication skills. You will build positive internal and external relationships to ensure a robust pipeline of talent for the business and ensure integration with other HR functions to deliver impactful talent insights.
Other core responsibilities for this highly visible role include:
- creating and implementing line-of-business recruiting strategies in partnership with hiring managers;
- building external networks and affiliations to support Allstates employment brand and to support passive and active recruiting strategies within the Irving market;
- passionately representing Allstates vision, culture and career opportunity to candidates;
- understanding Allstates Inclusive Diversity Strategy, and developing pipeline for diversity candidates on active and passive recruiting needs;
- delivering effective recruiting and related services, including funnel and pipeline analysis, process improvement and compliance;
- influencing and collaborating with hiring managers, business leaders and HR business partners to make data-driven decisions on talent;
- delivering high-quality talent to the business, including talent advising, coaching, transition and onboarding support for both candidates and hiring managers; and
- Tracking metrics and funnel data for strategic analysis of recruiting campaigns.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- 4+ years of IT talent acquisition/full life-cycle recruiting experience
- Advanced knowledge of a variety of talent sourcing strategies and tools, including social media and internet sourcing/research, can-do phone research and professional networking
- Broad working knowledge of best practices, programs, policies and procedures in human capital management or recruiting
- Familiarity with recruiting tools and technology, including applicant tracking systems and CRM
- Strong written/verbal communication and consulting skills
- Ability to prioritize competing demands
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting for roles focused on Tibco Application Developers and Product Support, Splunk Engineers, Agile Development, Cloud platform engineering and product management is preferred.
- Certifications in human resources and/or recruitment
