JOB SUMMARY:

Provide administrative and technical support for the administration, maintenance and reporting of agent/broker licensing, appointments and terminations.  Provide administrative and technical support relative to claims compliance administration, reporting, and regulatory audit functions.

Licensing

In coordination with various departments and individuals, assist with all assigned aspects involving agent/broker licensing, appointments and terminations.

Assist with the completion of periodic audits of licensing and appointments to ensure compliance with state regulatory requirements.

Assist with correspondence to state insurance departments to resolve licensing issues.

Claims Compliance

Under general supervision, research and secure data needed from various internal and external sources relating to claims reporting matters.

Assist with the completion of assigned claims data reporting to regulatory bureaus.

Provide assistance with correspondence to various regulatory bureaus to resolve claims data reporting questions and issues.    

Under general supervision, handle the tracking and maintenance of Third Party Claims Administrator licensure and certificates database. 

Assist in the follow up and tracking of Third Party Claims Administrator penalty reimbursements and corrective action plans.     

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Special projects and assistance as assigned.

Maintain complete and accurate records and correspondence for all assigned responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior experience with agent/broker licensing and/or P&C insurance claims administration preferred but not required.

Bachelor’s Degree; or Associates Degree plus 2 years post graduate experience; or HS/GED plus 4 years relevant insurance experience.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
