Position Summary

Under general supervision, the Salesforce Administrator will develop and maintain the global CRM (Salesforce) and related business application sets to ensure continued delivery of innovative, high quality solutions to meet business needs for global client development, as well as building necessary interfaces and tools for further integration and development of CRM. The Salesforce Administrator will also serve as the primary liaison to the various business units that use the system .

Responsibilities

  • Provide global day-to-day end-user support (including system configuration, complex formulas and system maintenance)
  • Drive Salesforce utilization and best practices through enhancement and execution of a global Salesforce training program
  • Maintain user roles and profiles, security settings, access settings etc. (User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules, Security, Validation Rules, and approval processes).
  • Perform data integrity and manipulation tasks such as managing data quality, merging duplicate records and managing account teams across global sales teams.
  • Understand business requirements for Salesforce enhancement projects and translate into technical requirements and design.
  • Design, code, document, build, test, debug, package and deploy quality, scalable solutions on the Salesforce environment, including but not limited to enhancements to CRM custom objects, page layouts, workflows, alerts, reports and complex dashboards.
  • Maintain a holistic view of all business processes and users in the system to understand cross functional impacts with regard to configuration, process, workflow, dashboard and reporting.
  • Maintains updated system documentation and Salesforce policies/procedures
  • Manage/participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Stay current on Salesforce.com functionality, best practices, releases, product roadmaps and 3rd party applications available via the AppExchange.
  • Upholds the Crawford Code of Conduct.
Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires minimum of three years of experience in Salesforce.com administration (full-time)
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning a plus
  • Experience with Pardot a plus
  • Experience with Apttus CLM a plus
  • Current, valid, verifiable Salesforce.com 201 certification (Certified Salesforce Administrator) or higher (401 & 211 a strong plus)
  • Hands on experience with APEX and Visual Force development.
  • Use of SaaS APIs to integrate CRM with other tools.
  • Keen attention to detail and complex problem solving abilities from an operational and technical perspective.
  • Ability to work independently and engage supervisor as needed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of effective project management delivering end-to-end solutions
  • Strong time management, planning, and prioritization
  • Experience interacting and communicating with a globally distributed sales team
  • The desire to work and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Must have a sense of urgency and self-motivation
