The Sales and Service Recognition and Rewards Manager will be responsible for driving, influencing and implementing recognition programs. These programs drive employee engagement to effectively attract, retain and motivate employees and drive growth. You'll align all programs to strategic/business plans as they are developed and clearly demonstrate the valuable nature of a well-thought-out rewards strategy. As the Manager, you will partner with senior management to ensure projects support business priorities, align with resource allocation, and are beneficial. Responsibilities:

  • Design rewards and recognition strategies and programs that will support the business objectives. Provide the framework to correlate financial recognition directly to business performance and build a high performing culture.
  • Act as business partner to senior leadership on rewards and recognition standard methodologies, regulatory compliance, talent acquisition and retention, etc.
  • You will support GRM US reward strategy by continuously gaining market intelligence and industry information. And by responding quickly to external market pressures and trends.
  • The Manager reviews the total rewards design and position across the business channels to ensure it is positioned in the industry and market where we operate through an analysis of all relevant factors including market data, tax effectiveness, local compliance and business needs.
  • Responsible for execution of high-profile recognition programs such as Liberty Leaders, Liberty Elite Leaders, and a host of other recognition programs.
  • Understand tax regulations, labor and Securities and Exchange Commission laws, financial reporting requirements and internal governance issues to ensure the design and administration of programs are in compliance.
  • You will lead a staff responsible for projects typically considered moderately complex to complex in nature.
  • Defines the business case and engages in priority setting with input from partners. Identifies and gains agreement on project objectives, scope, timing, and resources. Ensures project resources are optimally sourced and deployed.
  • Is responsible for the development and execution of project plans, checking progress against measures of success and ensuring value relative to cost. Provides mentorship in applying project management tools and methodology.
  • You will hires, coach, develop and make compensation recommendations for team members. Defines individual performance objectives and development plans, and ensures alignment with department, function, and SBU objectives.
  • Handles and works to resolve issues that serve as roadblocks and/or place project objectives at risk. Identifies and provides visibility into trade-offs between options, while strongly influencing recommended approach.
  • Ensures project close-out steps are taken to include lessons learned/best practices that inform the success of future projects.
  • Develops an environment in which continuous improvement methodologies are applied throughout the project management lifecycle.
Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience to include project management work and prior experience working in an effective leadership and/or management capacity.
  • Competencies typically acquired through a Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Expert-level ability in leading all aspects of the project management life cycle for multiple projects at one time to include those complex in nature.
  • Project management certification highly desirable.
  • Solid ability to select, develop and engage employees.
  • Strong ability to exercise influence and build consensus; presentation skills; promote collaboration, team work and change initiatives; and to build value for customers through a service orientation, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Displays strong business insight and integrated thinking.
  • Advanced business operations knowledge to include understanding the function`s value chain and market conditions strongly preferred.
