Senior DevOps Engineer

The Automobile Club of Southern California is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer whose main challenge will be to assess technology viability and contributing to sound, cost-effective technical recommendations to achieve customer needs.

           

Requirements:

  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and direction for application architecture and systems development on an agile team.
  • Experience with the IBM Stack as well as Microsoft .Net set of technologies.
  • May design, code, test, debug and document programs.
  • Develop or maintain application systems.
  • Collaborate with IT management, project or maintenance team members and other IT colleagues to evaluate, design, and provide technical solutions that support the Digital Communications strategy.
  • Contribute on emerging technologies used for the internet, intranet, or internal applications.
  • They must keep abreast of current IT technologies, and understand where these technologies can be deployed to provide cost effective business solutions. 

Qualifications

  • Advanced Information Technology Degree with course work emphasis in Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation, Web Development or Software Engineering.
  • 5 years' experience working collaboratively on an agile team in any capacity.
  • Ability to express complex technical concepts in terms less technical people can understand.
