The Associate Dev Ops Engineer position is typically an entry-level position for someone who has been through a programmer training class, but who has limited hands-on experience with programming or analysis. Under nominal supervision, perform duties in programming or systems analysis, either specializing in one of these fields or both. Work with mainframe and/or client/server business application systems. Assist in formulating system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify business application systems. May prepare detailed specifications for new programs or modifications to existing programs. May design, code, test, and debug programs. May participate in development of proposals including cost/benefit analysis. Provide maintenance, customer assistance, and documentation for business application systems and projects. May work on multiple systems or projects and in several phases of project development.

EDUCATION:

Four year college degree in information systems, technology, or related area of computer science preferred. Equivalent work experience or proven aptitude for critical thinking considered.  

One year experience in designing/deploying data processing and systems projects.
