Ryan Specialty Group Underwriting Managers is looking for a Business Analayst- Trainer to join our Chicago, IL office. We are a fast paced, energetic and rapidly growing organization that offers a great opportunity for someone interested in further developing their career.
Position Summary:
The Business Analyst-Trainer will be responsible for providing end user support and training of RSGs MGA/MGU Agency management system.
Essential Functions:
- Provide end user support and training on a MGA/MGU agency management system.
- Responsible for troubleshooting application errors or applications not operating.
- Responsible for isolating problems from symptoms, in conjunction with users to determine solution or alternatives, as well as develop and implement a resolution.
- Improve user instructions or training when assisting with user errors and problem resolution.
- Reviews performance of applications programs to ensure program efficiency, program documentation, and to ensure that output meets the needs of user departments.
- Special Projects to be assigned as needed.
- 15-25% Travel to our office sites
Education/Experience/Skills:
- BA/BS degree in a technology or business related field preferred.
- 3+ years experience in a P&C MGA/MGU business within a comparable position or as a Underwriting Assistant, Underwriter or Fiduciary Accounting.
- Experience testing MGA/MGU agency management systems a plus.
- Working knowledge of the P&C MGA/MGU business a must.
- Previous experience in the design, execution, and management of test plans and test cases.
- Strong experience with core business applications & processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Extremely detail-oriented.
- Able to work independently and juggle multiple projects and clients.
