Position Summary:

The Claims Administrator is responsible for supporting the Claims Department in providing claims resources and information to broker and insureds.

Essential Functions:

• Manage and coordinate all claims reviews. These including those scheduled with the carrier as well as individual accounts/brokers.
• Manage and coordinate all large account reviews.
• Responsible for coordinating with Underwriters to review all claim denials prior to notification to the insured/broker.
• Maintain oversight of the CAT call process, mapping, calling and tracking of on-going claims status.
• Create, analyze and distribute quarterly loss analysis to all accounts with premium greater than $250k.
• Collaborate with house accounts on a regular basis to review and discuss quarterly reports.
• Research and respond to broker/insured correspondence, calls, and inquiries regarding claims issues and process request for loss runs.
• Conduct special claims analysis and trending reports on all house accounts.
• Responsible for documenting all claims activities on the appropriate systems.
• Ability to work in a cooperative manner with other departments
• Train new employees and assist with special projects, reports, assignments, that may be required of the Claims Dept.

Education/Experience/Skills:

• Bachelors degree in a related field
• At least 8-10 years of claims related experience
• Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision.
• Critical attention to details.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including, but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Proven track record of being a team player.
• May be required to have and maintain a valid drivers license.
