If so, join our team!  About the role:   As a Concept Validation Lead you will help to shape the Solaria Labs portfolio at the front end of the innovation funnel. You'll lead cross-functional teams to identify consumer needs, develop concepts, and validate and prioritize those concepts for rapid prototyping. You'll be directly involved with building out those concepts and early prototypes. When the validation phase is complete, you will transition the concept to a Venture Manger to build it and get it into the hands of users.    Responsibilities:

• Establish partnerships with key organizational stakeholders and collaborate to set and build strategic alignment around Solaria focus areas
• Leverage advanced techniques to perform in-depth market analysis within focus areas.  Understand market dynamics and key consumer needs, and recommend areas for further exploration
• Lead small cross-functional teams through the consumer exploration process, using advanced consumer research methodologies like design thinking and outcome-driven innovation to drive insights, develop concepts and inform prototypes.
• Develop quantitative models to estimate size of opportunities, leveraging creative solutions to arrive at market size.
• As concepts are developed, serve as a thought leader in defining key hypotheses to test, structuring the experimentation plan, and building test stimuli. 
• Conducts long-term trend, market and competitive analysis for future opportunities
• Assess and create new techniques and approaches to expand the Consumer Exploration & Concept Validation capability
• Mentor more junior team members; provide feedback on analyses and recommendations

Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge in innovation, design thinking or customer research techniques.
• Creative thinker, intellectually curious, able to think outside the box, and interested in emerging technologies and innovation trends.
• Strong consumer empathy skills, with the ability to distill insights from qualitative and quantitative consumer research.
• Great communication skills. Able to depict the consumer's perspective to varied audiences and craft a persuasive story from diverse sources.
• Problem solver with ability to break down undefined and complex problems into testable components
• Positive attitude, comfortable operating in an ambiguous start-up environment and wearing multiple hats.
• Highly collaborative and strong interpersonal skills, with proven success in influencing others.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and analysis.
• Bachelor`s degree in business, economics, innovation or similar field.
• Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience.
