Liberty Mutual Insurance has an excellent Claims opportunity available.  As the Manager of Claims Product, U.S. Property & Marine team, you will be a key member of the Leadership Team, and will be responsible for driving efficiency and effectiveness to deliver on key business targets. You will also help Liberty Mutual become a global employer of choice by leading and developing business strategies while improving operational excellence across the Property & Marine Claims teams. You will lead the product and operations functions to support the service of our teams' customers in the National Insurance and North America Specialty businesses.Responsibilities:

• You will lead, motivate, and inspire team to deliver results through recruitment, selection, training, and development of all Product team members.
• You will collaborate across the teams to develop business strategies, improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, and ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives and solutions.
• You will identify and triage performance trends, problems, friction points, and expense management opportunities to facilitate process improvements to deliver excellence for the group.
• You will optimize processes to support strong performance, helping improve claim outcomes and deliver a strong customer experience.
• Anticipate effects of emerging business requirements on strategy, structure, and culture, as well as define new requirements and actively lead transitions.
• You will develop, maintain, and revise practices and procedures to improve Property & Marine team performance.
• Partner with Transformation team to ensure successful rollouts of strategic initiatives and to develop and pilot solutions.
• Partner with IT to solve system issues and drive enhancements.
• Partner with Quality Assurance and Compliance to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulation, as well as internal standards, practices, and processes.
• Partner with Claims Training to develop, schedule, and deliver training for claims teams to improve performance.

Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of insurance, claims, operations, technology, and finance.
• 8-10 years of experience related to leading teams or operations.
• Must have excellent leadership, decision-making, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Experience leading in a changing environment required.
• Experience planning, controlling, directing and organizing operational initiatives required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training required. Advanced degree preferred.
