Job Details
AAA East Central is looking for a Full-Time (37.5 hrs/wk) Membership Accounting Specialist at our East Liberty (Pittsburgh) corporate office. Business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm. Compensation is $12.43-$14.00 per hour based upon experience.
Responsibilities:
- Enters data into various membership systems for all ACE Clubs in order to create various types of new memberships, add associates/products, cancel products or memberships and update contact information
- Analyzes incoming membership documents for accuracy and completeness and determines appropriate resolution
- Generates standardized written correspondence to members in order to obtain membership-related information to expedite processing for associate retention
- Maintains organization of ACE membership documents in order to maintain audit trails and adhere to current retention guidelines in a secure environment
- Processes interoffice and incoming/outgoing U.S. mail
- Prepares batch processing of membership deposits through processing check scanning equipment
- Prepares membership deposits for banking (manual processing of checks)
- Communicates with members verbally to obtain member-related information to expedite processing of membership records
- Prints the A/P checks and returns the printed checks to the A/P Clerk for mailing
- Identifies system discrepancies and reports them to appropriate management
- Achieves stated individual and department goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Thorough knowledge of membership system, benefits, policies and procedures preferred
- Customer service experience required
- Must be detail-oriented and have good math and logic aptitude
- Proficiency with calculator and personal computer required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word and Excel is preferred
