Primary Purpose:
To support the Online Enrollment System in a technical capacity, with a focus on XSLT coding for PDF generations and troubleshooting XML integrations with various systems and triaging failed applications using SQL queries and working with Insurance Carrier technical teams to fix the integrations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
- Build out XSLT files that convert XMLs to either an integrated XML sheet for our carrier partners or to populate Adobe PDFs
- Work with the technical teams of our carrier partners to identify and troubleshoot integration errors
- Identify connectivity errors that need to be escalated to our internal developers and work with them to resolve the issues
- Maintain a working bug list of items that need to be corrected, and help serve as a quality assurance tester as items are corrected by our development team
- Help with the building of online applications through our proprietary application building software
- Using SQL queries into our database to identify error codes and work with various Carrier partners to troubleshoot our integrations
- Help set up secure connections to outside customers
- Run daily conference calls with our technical partners to set up and troubleshoot integrations

- Bachelor Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
- Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of the OSI model
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio, and TFS
- MSQL, HTML, CSS, XSLT 1.0, and knowledge of .NET (C#)
- Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
- Ability to adapt to new situations and learn quickly
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity of the health insurance industry, carriers, and their related products
