Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Development of systems and reporting enhancements
  • Oracle Hyperion implementation experience
  • Revenue Analysis preparation of monthly revenue by client by service and market segments compared to budget and variance analysis
  • Provide financial understanding and insight to executive management
  • Assist in preparation of Month-End reporting package.
  • Assist in cash flow analysis
  • Develop KPI scorecards
  • Assist in providing transparency through all levels of a multi-segment, multi-location organization
  • Assist in development to forecasting models and Budget preparation
  • Assist with Mergers and Acquisitions from due diligence to integration
  • Expense analysis variance to actual
  • Ad hoc reporting as needed
  • The FP&A Lead reports to the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Works without supervision with complete latitude for independent judgment

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

  • Will be responsible for supervising and mentoring peers on special ad-hoc projects and display leadership as needed

EDUCATION:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting preferred but Finance degree will be considered
  • Advanced degree in Finance, Technology or Accounting is desirable
  • CMA /CFM or CPA is desirable

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 or more years experience having worked in both accounting and financial planning environments
  • Prior knowledge and experience in forecasting and budgeting
  • Experience with Hyperion software implementation
  • Public Accounting experience is desirable

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Advanced Excel skills required, including lookups, pivot tables and macros. Must be proficient in managing, importing and exporting large amounts of data.
  • Technology Savvy
  • Hyperion savvy
  • Financial and operational modeling skills desirable
  • Operations and process efficiency improvement
  • Adaptable to a changing environment and ability to multitask
  • Effective communicator, must be able to work with executive management using tact and discretion
  • Possess strong analytical skills and problem solving capabilities
  • Natural curiosity and ability to synthesize data to draw insights
  • A sense of urgency
  • Business acumen and ability to identify the questions
  • Detail oriented and accurate
  • A professional, able to handle hard deadlines and willing to work additional hours when necessary
  • Highly motivated self-starter
