Responsibilities:

• The role of the Director of Carrier Relations is to lead and manage strategic carrier partnerships with our Carrier Partners
• Manage carrier contractual agreements
• Director of Insurance Carrier Relations is Responsible for subsequent quality control and provision of data and analytics
• Director of Insurance Carrier Relations responsible for Long-term management of existing carrier relationships, including conducting in depth business reviews and identifying opportunities to increase production and efficiencies
• Director of Insurance Carrier Relations will Work with leadership to develop and drive strategic growth plans
• Director of Insurance Carrier Relations will Engage with agents and brokers and underwrite to drive premium development with our carrier partners

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in retail and/or Wholesale, MGA - E&S business preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and act tactically
• Strong influencing, negotiation, and relationship building skills
• Ability to travel, particularly to trade shows
• Well connected in the insurance community is a plus
