Job Description
** In addition to Charlotte, NC, we are flexible to strong qualified individuals in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX & Phoenix, AZ markets to work in our Allstate offices in these locations.**
The Cybersecurity Education Operations Lead will contribute to the overall management and execution activities that support educating Allstate end users about their information protection responsibilities. The position manages projects to mitigate risks associated with the human factor of security, conducts research to identify emerging trends in adult learning, and implements programs that ensure or improve the effectiveness of corporate security education strategies. The individual will have a thorough understanding of stated security policies and how they affect end user behavior. This position will partner with the appropriate stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop the strategies for end user education. He/she will build a network of contacts, develop & maintain cross-organizational relationships, and work with colleagues from across organization to achieve better results.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate, develop and curate cybersecurity education and training content
- Develop Cybersecurity Education and Training strategy in coordination with Cybersecurity Education & Training Manager
- Lead coordination of training within Cybersecurity Education portfolio, which includes mandatory training for all users, role-based training, topic-based training, on-demand resources, phishing simulations, cybersecurity workforce development and security training consulting
- Assess new requests for cybersecurity training and prioritize delivery appropriately
- Analyze training needs to determine best adult learning approaches and whether to build, buy or curate appropriate training and development material
- Design training material and workforce development plans according to approved training strategies and plans
- Develop and edit error-free training and development material that meets organizations requirements, creates understanding of complex subject matter, and effectively uses language in an innovative and creative way to reinforce key messages
- Represent information security at internal company events by supporting organizations mission and key messages
Other Responsibilities
Act as adult learning and instructional design expert within Information Security and provide guidance, coaching and mentorship to other team members
- Act as primary point of contact for Information Security and enterprise leaders about Cybersecurity Education Portfolio and future strategy
- Lead planning sessions regarding root cause analysis of business issues and/or opportunities that lead to development of training plans
- Apply functional knowledge to lead creation and execution of cybersecurity training plans
- Edit/review self/others training courses, deliverables and plans
Identify program-level measures and metrics to address human risks and behavior change outcomes
- Lead creation, reporting and analysis of key performance indicator (KPIs) and key risk indicator (KRIs) metrics, measurements and analytics for success of the Cybersecurity Education portfolio
Develop and maintain effective enterprise partnerships
- Build network of contacts; develop and maintain cross-organizational relationships
- Work with colleagues from across organization to achieve better results
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years work experience in security or risk management, project management, or data protection
- Education: College degree or equivalent work experience
- Certifications in area of specialty are preferred. Examples include: CompTIA, CISSP, CSSLP, CISA, CISM, GIAC certs, CFE, CNP, CEH
