 Advance your career at Liberty Mutual Insurance - A Fortune 100 Company!    Liberty Mutual Insurance is pleased to be recruiting for an Associate Human Resource Representative to participate in a Human Resource Development Program.  The program will build participant competencies through practical experience within the organization.  Initially, participants will have an opportunity to work in our Corporate Human Resource Operations Units providing general Human Resource policy, process and system support to functional managers and employees.  Subsequent assignments will be within benefits, compensation, employment, employee relations, systems, or training and development; and will be project and/or functional in nature.  Upon completion of the program, it is expected that the participant will enter an Human Resource position within the corporate function or one of the Strategic Business Units. Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a resource to managers, Human Resources Generalists and employees in the area of Corporate Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Provide general employment support through job postings/employee referral award processing, ad placement, employee orientation and exit interviews.
  • Effectively manage employee workers' compensation, short-term disability, FMLA and employee relocations.
  • Work cooperatively and collaboratively with co-workers and other departments to achieve accurate results, while demonstrating active team participation through own initiative.

Qualifications:

  • Possess strong communication, organization, customer service, and project management skills.
  • Familiar with information systems, software applications and analyzing quantitative information.  
  • Business acumen is a plus. 
  • Willingness to relocate will enhance future career opportunities.
  • 0-2 years of professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.  Additional requirements may apply
