Allstates growing User Experience and Design Group is looking for a Mobile User Experience Architect with iOS and Android experience who wants to do innovative and challenging work in a flexible, fun, caring and respectful environment. Does working with other smart, creative people in a low-drama atmosphere sound intriguing?

Key Responsibilities

The Mobile User Experience Architect will be a part of the creative team bringing creative requests and special projects to life. He/she is responsible for applying contemporary user-centered design methodologies and UX industry best practices to drive useful and usable design solutions. He/she will also be responsible for collaborating with our development teams to deliver final designs for our native mobile applications for iOS and Android.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. The candidate will also have strong conceptualization ability, design skills, production value and strong attention to detail. The candidate must be able to plan their own work while executing against deadlines.

Final deliverables may take many forms, such as wireframes, sketches or storyboards, click-through prototypes, and design specifications of various fidelities. The candidate should be proficient in numerous tools to facilitate this work, including (but not limited to) Sketch, the Adobe Creative Suite, and rapid prototyping tools like Invision.

The candidate for this position must have at least 3 years of proven experience in aspects of user-centered design. Candidates who cannot show native mobile designs in their portfolios will not be considered.

This role involves coordinating with multiple cross-disciplinary teams in order to help evolve internal design systems. The candidate will be a connector between teams and work to ensure designs are consistent and work efforts are not duplicated.
