Job Details
- In an Agile environment, develops efficient, maintainable, defect-free source code that meets business requirements and team standards.
- Collaborates on development of unit test cases
- Develops test scripts
- Contributes to researching technical alternatives
- Conducts impact analysis
- Develops component design
- Participates in the production of support documentation.
- Interact with customers and development team to gather and define requirements
- Participates in medium-level design activities by analyzing requirements and high level designs
- Provides functional/system integration testing support.
- Performs Quality Assurance coding review; defects or discrepancies in requirements identified and resolved with appropriate partners.
- Collaborates on troubleshooting production issues and performing root cause analysis
- Identify improvement opportunities including performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation.
- 2+ years of front-end coding experience using React/CSS/HTML, familiar with ES6.
- Knowledgeable in Behavioral Driven Development. Capable of Node.js scripting and API automated test designs. Experience with testing tools such as Cypress and Jest is a plus.
- Knowledge of layered systems architectures and layered solutions and designs; understanding of shared software concepts.
- Other desired skills:
- Java/Spring
- cloud-based technologies, including AWS and Cloud Foundry
- Knowledge of backend/RESTful services
- SQL Server databases
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience. Generally 3+ years of professional experience. General knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies. General knowledge of IT architectures and technical standards. Proficient in two or more programming languages and tools; knowledgeable in new and emerging technologies. General knowledge of a business function(s) and business operations. General knowledge of design and development tools. General knowledge of layered systems architectures and layered solutions and designs; general understanding of shared software concepts. Negotiation skills; oral and written communication skills.
