Advance your Career at Liberty Mutual Insurance - A Fortune 100 Company  Works with Brokers and prospective groups to secure agreements to offer employer sponsored voluntary benefits packages to employees and members.  Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure high quality groups, proper compliance and successful communication plans to deliver profitable business through multiple distribution channels.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Identifies and solicits quality prospects through relationships with brokers, benefits consultants.
  • Targets groups over 5,000 lives
  • Distributes Group A&H to employer and non-employer groups.
  • Works with RMs to source and sell Group opportunities from existing accounts over 5,000 lives. 
  • Develops cross-sell opportunities with GRS, SPG and other areas of GRM.
  • Tracks sales pipeline, prospecting efforts and sales stages including sales forecast in CRM tools.
  • Follows underwriting practices to ensure high quality groups.
  • Collaborates with relationship managers to implement enrollment strategies to maximize account participation. 
  • Identifies and satisfies client needs through written and telephone contact with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Maintains strong communication with sales representatives and sales management from other markets/departments to secure client relations, and to uphold the integrity of representing company products and services.
  • Attends finalist meetings
Qualifications:
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent training.
  • In addition, 5-7 years of progressively more responsible work experience in an insurance sales position, to include a minimum of 3 years in a group account selling environment.
  • Must be licensed, if required by state.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of the company's services, products and marketing techniques, insurance contracts, funding and rating.
  • Requires highly effective oral and written communication skills including presentation, persuasion, relationship management, timing, tact and negotiating skills.
  •  Demonstrated computer skills.
