The Solution Senior Director role provides leadership for the Technology Enablement for all Agile Release Trains within the Claim Business Intelligence and Analytics Value Stream. This role drives different aspects of Technology Enablement such as Evergreen Currency initiatives, Right Speed Strategy, Data Certification and Strategic Enablement. This role works within the Solution Management Team and participates in defining the higher-level concepts and seeing it through execution working with Agile Release Trains.
This role is a Lean-Agile Leader who understand the complexities of large-scale solution development and applies SAFe Lean-Agile principles and practices - doing what works, trying new things, and stopping doing things that don't work.
Your DAY...
- You will help define, drive and evolve Strategic Enablement initiatives which includes Information Delivery Strategy, Data Strategy, Emerging Technology such as Artificial Intelligence, Predictive Analytics etc.
- You will help drive Technology Platform Currency initiatives which will ensure delivering customer value on a sustainable, scalable technology platform.
- You will help define and drive Right Speed initiatives like High Speed Pipeline, Test Automation CICD et.al to help Agile Release Trains function effectively and deliver value to customer quicker.
- You will participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution and explore solution alternatives as part of the Solution Management Team.
- You will plan and develop the Architectural Runway in support of new business capabilities.
- You will work with the Program and System teams to determine capacity allocation for technology enablement work.
- You will be part of and contributing in Program Increment (PI) Planning and Pre- and Post-PI Planning, System and Solution Demos, and Inspect and Adapt events.
- Is responsible for developing technology systems that providing Travelers Claim analytic insights which improve efficiencies and outcomes with a focus on the analytic community and software.

- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 7 years of systems architect/engineering experience within the Business Intelligence and Analytics field preferred
- Command of ETL concepts, data analysis and analytic/data visualization tools (e.g. Abinitio, Cognos, Qlik, Hive) and experience working in one or more data platforms (e.g. Teradata, Hadoop, DB2)
- 2 years of human resource management experience preferred
High School diploma or equivalent required. 5 years of technology or business related experience required.
