Job Summary
The Manager, Strategic Initiatives primary responsibility is to provide consulting and analytic support to the Middle Market leaders in the development and execution of major projects and initiatives to enable achievement of the business plan.

Marketing Description

This role is within the Multinational Accounts Practice, primarily supporting the Global business of US Commercial Accounts customers. Under the general supervision of 2VP, Multinational Strategic Initiatives and MD, Global Field, the Manager is accountable for supporting all aspects of the Global field strategy. This role will collect and analyze data to inform the best use of Global's Field resources and get actionable data into the Global Underwriters' hands. The Manager will collaborate with internal Sales & Distribution partners and work directly with Finance & BI&A teams. This job may lead project teams. Candidate must have a background in data & analytics and reporting.

Key responsibilities are:

• Work across multiple data sources & BUs to create and analyze data sets to uncover trends
• Develop & implement sales metrics (internal & for BU partners)
• Develop & implement Broker reporting
• Support Prospecting activities
• Collaborate / participate on key Sales & Distribution teams and related project teams
• Lead reporting projects - including defining requirements and partnering with BI&A and Finance teams
• Support ad-hoc projects

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Perform research and current state analysis: define challenges and pain points. Perform moderately complex strategic analysis, business analysis and cost/benefit analysis. In conjunction with Directors, helps to transform business strategy into tactical plans for execution. Supports market level planning and execution. Provides facts and analysis to assist the leadership team in solving complex problems. Assists in building the storylines and presentations to communicate current & future state, gap analysis and recommendations. May facilitate business meetings with the leadership team, and/or assist in preparing agendas and content for meetings.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree. 5 years business experience.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
MBA preferred. Knowledge of property casualty insurance. Strong understanding of insurance industry and market dynamics.
