Job Summary
The Content Producer/SEO Manager is a digital content creator accountable for managing content and website initiatives that attract quality website traffic to Travelers.com and drive business success through digital marketing efforts. Incumbents are highly organized and proactive with excellent editorial and verbal communications skills and relevant experience in content creation, web & content marketing, SEO best practices, web analytics and reporting, and keyword strategy. This position is responsible for producing and editing content, managing freelance content creators, contributing to SEO strategic planning and managing the day to day coordination and execution of company's SEO strategy road map in partnership with external SEO consultants.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Create new content and update existing content in line with Travelers content strategies and SEO road map. Review content and provide optimization content editors and freelancers for creating high-quality top-ranking content around relevant terms that are important to Travelers business. Manage day to day interactions with external SEO partner to identify technical and on-page SEO issues and recommend SEO tactics and initiatives to improve Travelers online visibility and search rankings for target keywords. Manage implementation and QA of ongoing optimization efforts by Enterprise Digital Marketing teammates and ebusiness colleagues on efforts including but not limited to: keyword research, on-page optimizations, landing page optimization, and conversion optimization. Coordinate reporting on search rankings and effectiveness of SEO efforts by partnering with SEO consultants and web analytics team to identify KPIs and create dashboards with data derived from multiple sources including: web analytics platforms and various SEO tools used to monitor, analyze, report on and optimize website activity, traffic trends, SERP rankings and customer acquisition metrics, through regular and ad-hoc reports. Analyze and interpret campaign performance data and reports to gage and report on SEO performance and inform next actions. Understand and help achieve business goals and objectives through content creation, optimization and SEO efforts. Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development aligned to SEO and business goals. Develop checklists and other educational content to help keep internal stakeholders current on SEO and content best practices. Keep pace with digital marketing and SEO trends. Coordinate with SEO consultants to develop effective keyword targeting strategy, prioritize SEO content initiatives, and execute planned SEO tactics to maximize organic reach and engagement. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS in business, marketing, journalism, communications, English, or equivalent work experience in Content Marketing and SEO required. 3 years of experience as SEO Manager or similar role planning and implementing a successful SEO strategy required.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Strong understanding of SEO and Content Marketing strategy, and experience running SEO programs, ideally for B2B and B2C. Working knowledge of content marketing and social media. Working knowledge of web analytics, Google Analytics, Core Metrics, Excel, and SEO tools. Working knowledge of A/B and other testing methods. Insurance industry experience a plus.

Job Specific & Technical Skills & Competencies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to create, edit, and revise different types of digital marketing content for B2B and B2C. Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects efficiently to timely completion. Great interpersonal skills and relationship management experience. Critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
