Liberty Mutual Women in Technology Summit

The Liberty Mutual Women in Technology Summit is an immersive three day program that empowers, motivates, celebrates and provides a vision of what it is like to be a woman pursuing a career in tech.

 

What to expect: Female students from diverse backgrounds, representing top partner schools across the country, will travel as our guests to our corporate headquarters in Boston, MA. Attendees will participate in workshops and activities to start them on the path to a successful career in tech by fostering leadership qualities, problem solving, and collaboration. Participants will have numerous opportunities to network with Women in Technology, peers, recent college hires, senior leaders, and recruiters to learn about working in tech, the types of roles they can pursue, and the skills they need for a successful career in tech.

 

Career exploration: In addition, students selected for the summit will have an opportunity to interview for a summer internship the following year. Summer interns, who perform exceptionally well, may receive a full-time employment offer.

 

When is the 2019 Liberty Mutual Women in Technology Summit?

The Liberty Mutual Women in Technology Summit will take place Wednesday, June 19 - Friday, June 21, 2019 in Boston, MA. Liberty Mutual will incur all costs for approved travel, lodging and meal expenses.

In order to be eligible, you must:

• Be a current, full-time, female undergraduate student in your freshman or sophomore year
• Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Be working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Informatics, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or other related technical programs
• Possess strong technical, analytical, communication, & organizational skills
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
