Job Description
Allstate is seeking a dynamic Sr. Manager to lead our Enterprise Strategic Sourcing and Programs function designed to build and nurture diverse pipelines of talent for our business. The organization will lean on your strong strategic and problem-solving capabilities to deliver scalable and sustainable solutions to the Allstates biggest recruiting challenges. This is a key leadership role within the Talent Acquisition Leadership team.
Your extensive leadership experience will be leveraged to lead, coach, and develop a team of talent acquisition leaders who manage core recruiting capabilities and programs such as campus, diversity, sourcing, and internal mobility. You will make a valuable impact to Allstate through the following:
- Own talent acquisitions pipeline strategy, and manage a team that is responsible for leading their area of expertise to deliver against it. This includes sourcing, campus, diversity, employee referrals, and internal mobility.
- Work collaboratively with our recruitment delivery team to align pipeline strategies and programs to meet the recruiting needs of business areas they support.
- Design and modify the teams operating model to deliver greater candidate, employee, and internal customer experiences.
- Lead the organizations sourcing function and ensure we are positioned well to source and nurture strong pipelines of external talent.
- Lead the organizations campus and diversity recruiting function where they maintain strong external partnerships across campus, diversity, and professional organizations and networks to meet Allstates talent needs for various programs (internship programs, leadership development programs, career re-entry), and opportunities (entry level, professional, leadership) generating a robust and diverse pipeline of talent.
- Lead the organizations practice for developing and designing recruiting programs and events that engage, nurture, and convert qualified prospects to interested candidates.
- Lead internal requisition management function and promote and enable the mobility of Allstaters through effective coaching tools and resources and connecting them to opportunities across the enterprise.
- Lead team to deliver exceptional candidate centric experiences to create interest and drive top of the funnel conversions.
- Build and develop teams of TA professionals to be successful in both advising and partnering with internal stakeholders, to be experts at sourcing, recruiting, and/or developing recruiting programs, and to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
- Teach and inspire data driven decision making across the team. Analyze and synthesize data to tell a story, draw connections, identify root cause, make better business decisions, and develop solutions and strategies.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree is required
- 10+ years of recruiting leadership experience, leading recruitment teams in highly complex operational environments
- Superior management and people development skills with the ability to inspire, and engage team members and influence outcomes with leaders.
- Demonstrated track record of coming up with innovative ideas, and implementing changes resulting in high levels of employee engagement and development, operational efficiencies yielding greater business value, and customer and/or client improvements.
- Ability to collaborate, advise and influence stakeholders at varying levels using quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Broad working knowledge of programs, policies and procedures in management or a recruiting field gained through extensive experience and training.
- Experience developing enterprise wide recruiting strategies and programs, including the KPIs that define measures of success
- Proficient in building and implementing new programs and teams, and developing strong business cases to gain the support needed
- Ability to take a big picture, systems thinking approach to developing solutions
- Ability to develop & deliver effective presentations and demonstrate consultative facilitation and presentation skills.
- Advise and provide expertise in recruitment, strategic HR implementation and metrics.
