Fleet Services Site Manager

The ideal candidate will possess great organizational and interpersonal skills.  As Site Manager you will manage two sites Mandeville, LA and Gulfport, MS.  Must be able to manage a fleet staff of 50 or more employees.  Good automotive knowledge with a clean driving record and a class 'E' chauffeurs license.  Medium duty truck and towing knowledge helpful.

Good communciation skills, knowledge or experience with DOT physical/drug screen process.  Basic computer skills, record keeping, customer oriented, and ability to assist with training, scheduling and inventory are required.

Manages automotive service fleet operations. The function of fleet operations is to assist motorists who have need of roadside and/or specialized automotive assistance such as battery replacement service.   Under general direction, performs the traditional roles of a manager including planning, decision making, organizing, staffing, communicating, and controlling.  Responsible for achieving departmental objectives and managing resources so as to maintain favorable revenue to expense ratios.

Participates in development, implementation and maintenance of policies, objectives, and short/long term planning necessary to achieve departmental objectives.

Provides direction, administrative support and management oversight to fleet service supervisors. Insures that work is allocated so as to maximize results, that all procedures and policies are being enforced, and that company is in compliance with  local/state/federal laws.  Works to keep employees motivated and create a culture where morale is positive.
