Account Executive – Commercial Lines

Growing insurance agency located in Downtown Pittsburgh has partnered with General Placement Service to locate and add to their commercial lines staff. Our client is nationally recognized as a leader in their niche markets, providing excellent service through their value added services, risk management practices and market leading technology. 
 
This role will manage a moderately complex book of business that is national in scope. This book is mostly written through the agencies exclusive carrier relationships in their niche. The account executive will be responsible for all the duties of an account manager and have excellent opportunities to cross sell existing business (Including earning commissions on any cross selling they do). This is hands on, gritty account management work in a fast paced agency environment. The AE will work very independently from the Producer on the book. This role is very autonomous and the expectation is that the AE will be a self-starter with strong self-management abilities. 
 
To be qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 years commercial lines experience. A degree and industry designations are preferred.
