Location: St. Louis, MO

Length of Assignment: Temporary

Compensation: $25.00 to $29.00 Per Hour, Depending on Experience

Job Description:

Our client, a leading insurance company, is currently seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to work out of their St. Louis, MO office. This person would be responsible for handling indemnity claims from inception to close.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 years recent experience handling Workers' Compensation Indemnity Claims
• Ability to analyze claims to determine the best route of action; approval, denial or settlement
• Analyze complex or technically difficult claims to determine benefits due
• Evaluate loss, assess reserve and settlements value where applicable and settle cases with claimants, insureds and attorneys autonomously
• Jurisdictional experience in as many of the following states: MO, IL, NE, IA, KS, and OK
• Ability to start on short notice

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active adjusters license
