We are looking to add a new Web Application Developer to our dynamic and fast-paced team supporting Emergency Road Service. The chosen candidate must have a proven background creating applications in a .NET environment utilizing Visual Studio and a variety of database frameworks. A strong commitment to collaborative problem solving, efficient design, and quality products is essential.
Candidate will also participate in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) from gathering requirements, design, development, and testing/QA. Other responsibilities include ensuring the successful implementation of your tasks by participating in post-deployment testing, establishing priorities, working independently and achieving results with minimal supervision. Additionally, candidate will implement industry best practices and usability standards on our websites and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
The selected candidate will support the team by:
- Developing and implementing software solutions to new and existing systems using current technology tools including C#, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL, etc.
- Translating user requirements and use cases into functional application.
- Exhibiting strong skills in collaboration, influencing, and teamwork.
- Demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Accepting and adapting to a changing environment and changing priorities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years as a .NET web application development or equivalent work experience.
- Proven proficiency using C#, MVC, and .NET Core, Javascript, jQuery, and Angular.
- Hands on experience creating services, both Web and Windows.
- Extensive hands on experience with front end UI development using HTML5 and CSS, including Bootstrap.
- Proven proficiency in database development using SQL Server, Oracle, and Teradata.
- Experience managing source code using TFS.
- Working knowledge of Auth0 is a plus.
