Unique Health Informatics Actuary (PR10201)

Unique Health Informatics Actuary opening for hospital in New York. Manage team to develop detailed analytics and provide support for contracting and commercialization strategy; provide information, insights and Business Intelligence solutions that contribute to strategic planning and effective performance measurement; calculate IBNR, mine cost data, quantify risk and develop pricing strategies for commercialized health products. Analyze issues using pharmacy, contract, medical management, claims, and clinical data for business intelligence tools and reporting.

Ideal candidate has experience leading a medical economics, healthcare actuarial informatics or analytics team; 5+ years of experience working in health plan actuarial, financial reporting or medical economics department or experience working in healthcare provider analytics related to managed care contracting, revenue modeling, population management, etc.; knowledge of Medicaid or CMS Medicare programs or commercial at-risk arrangements like shared savings, capitation, etc.; must have experience with Business Intelligence products such as Tableau, SAP/Business Objects, SAS, MicroStrategy, SQL, R, Python, SAS, Java, etc. Salary $open.
