The Senior Innovation Lead performs highly complex analysis and/or manages high complexity, large scale projects. Makes recommendations for improvements and develops potential solutions. Provides consultation on complex business issues using in depth analysis/subject matter expertise. Implements initiatives and conducts analyses to support strategic direction. Leads innovation projects which may include trend analysis, prototyping, startup engagements and collaboration, etc. Interacts with and manages vendors as needed.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Manages multiple complex solutions, from ideation through scale.
• Develops and provides complex analysis of innovation results, test results, market trends to help drive and support business decisions
• Provides thoughtful recommendations based on analysis completed
• Consults on complex business issues, innovation considerations and business impacts.
• Manages work streams on long-term or high complexity projects.
• Based on strong understanding of how competitor actions impact marketplace, distribution channel and customers, conducts in depth research utilizing various sources.
• Analyzes trends and is responsible for tactical and strategic recommendations.
• Leads innovation projects which may include trend analysis, prototyping, startup engagements and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or equivalent experience.
• Ability to think creatively to come up with new solutions to old problems
• Ability to connect user needs to business value drivers
• Proven desire to continually develop both their work and themselves
• Familiarity with cutting edge technologies (NLP, RPA, IOT, 2-way online marketplaces, VR/AR, etc,) preferred
• Sufficient coding experience to speak with software developers in their terms is preferred
• Ability to lead projects from idea generation, vision development, to deployment is preferred
