Liberty Mutual's MDD Analytics group is looking for a Senior Analyst, Partnership Analytics. You will be responsible for supporting key initiatives and driving complex analyses to lead the business forward. You will play a key role in strategizing, supporting execution, and measuring a broad range of initiatives to help grow and improve the profitability of our strategic partnerships. You will collaborate with members of the Marketing, Product & Distribution organizations, using data and analytics to identify areas of opportunity within our partnerships. Responsibilities:
  • Work with Business Development teams to gather information on strategic partnerships' business and value proposition
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Partnership Group to find opportunities to optimize partnership structures
  • Use data analysis and modeling to accurately forecast impacts to the business
  • Gain support from key partners and communicate actionable recommendations to Senior Management
  • Objectively measure the impacts of various partnership initiatives through data and analytics
  • Conduct research and ad-hoc analysis to support operational goals
  • Apply strategic thought leadership to help figure out viable long-term Partner strategies for Accident & Health, Small Business Lines, and Tuition insurance products
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of analytics experience in jobs with progressive responsibility
  • Master's Degree preferred; advanced education may be substituted for years of experience (i.e Ph.D. with no professional experience).
  • Deep knowledge of data sources, tools and business drivers.
  • Ability to apply advanced analytical concepts to improve business outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of predictive modeling is preferred. Ability to analyze results analyze modeled results and identify opportunities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, macros, scripts, formulas, data visualization, etc.), PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (SAS)
  • Must have good planning, analytical, decision-making and communication skills.
