Job Details
At AmTrust Financial Service, Inc we are looking for an ETL Development Manager. This individual will be responsible for managing a team of ETL Developers, reviewing the current ETL processes and working with the team to streamline the jobs.
Responsibilities Will be responsible for managing a team of software engineers handling ETL related to data file processing.
Will be required to interface with business analysts to discuss timelines, and clarify requirements as it pertains to new projects and/or enhancements and bug fixes.
Will be required to size efforts relating to business requests for prioritization by the business.
Will be required to participate in steering committee meetings to discuss business requirements and timelines.
Will be required to coordinate additional administrative tasks, such as audits.
Manage and approve code changes within version control using Git/Azure DevOps.
Promote best practices.
Ensure timelines for development efforts are met
College degree desired
Self-starter/motivated
Strong communicator
Knowledge of design patterns
1-3 years of supervisory experience
Experience with ETL tools, specifically Astera Centerprise or similar, such as SSIS, Informatica, or Adeptia
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL and SQL querying
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of object oriented development concepts
Preferable exposure to .NET Framework languages, such as C#
