Marketing Account Executive

We’re currently partnered with a Leading National Broker that’s looking for a Marketing Account Executive their expanding Portland, OR office.  

The Marketing AE will organize and coordinate internal activities on accounts. Assist the producer in the maintenance of existing accounts and develop the necessary rapport to obtain the confidence of both the insured and the carrier. Assist the Producer in the production of new business. As appropriate, provide mentoring to MAEs, Unvalidated Producers, and ASRs.

Regardless of account complexity, prepare and submit company applications to select underwriters and obtain desired commitments. Develop and maintain strong market relationships of an advanced nature.

Qualified candidates should possess the following:

• 10 years of Large Commercial Account experience in an agency or comparable insurance related background.
• Comprehensive knowledge of markets, policies and coverage issues for all states and industries serviced
• Exemplary client relation skills to build and maintain positive business relationships with clients and market contacts.
• Comprehensive agency computer knowledge of all internal accounting and application systems.
• Must have agents license
• Bachelor’s degree
