The Finance Manager will oversee the Financial Operations of Lewisville, TX, and will lead the Financial planning, reporting and analysis functions for its Mobile business. Perform various data analytics to achieve Assurant financial goals and help ensure compliance to our financial & accounting policies related to client and product profitability, and expense efficiencies. This person will provide direct support to BroadTech Plant Manager and the Repairs & Logistics (R&L) VP of US Operations and will manage a team of 3 Analysts.


50% - FP&A processes

  • Manage all periodic financial reporting and related analysis for multiple business units and products.
  • Manage all internal reporting and analysis, including key performance indicators as needed to support management decision making functions.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly forecasts and related analytics.
  • Manage annual operating budgets and related analytics.
  • Ad hoc reporting and special projects as dictated by upper management.
  • Perform analysis for all products and services, costs and expenses and assist with auditors as needed.
  • Review marketing agreements to identify accounting issues and monitor compliance with companys policies for client compensation.
  • Consult and support Operations Team regarding expenses and impacts from changes in processes.
  • Lead Staff to exemplary performance, determine and recruit resources required to complete responsibilities and tasks.
  • Assist sales team with proformas and compensation deal structures.
  • Support cross functional areas to ensure new and existing business deals fulfill pricing requirements


30% - New Business Planning and Implementation

  • Support the modeling new business financial feasibility and other multiple ad-hoc deliverables
  • Coordinate with Accounting the implementation of financial and accounting systems and controls for new business
  • Report on Progress of financial deliverables related to new businesses, including all opportunities and risks.


20% - Continue the integration of BroadTech into Assurant Accounting and Financial Systems

  • Direct Assurants efforts to integrate all BroadTech Accounting and Financial Systems.
  • Provide direction to optimize systems to increase user productivity and company efficiency.
  • Ensure flawless Oracle implementation

  • BS in Accounting or Finance or five or more years in a finance/accounting role.


Other requirements

  • Excellent Excel and database application skills
  • Financial reporting and analysis skills
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, revenue recognition principles and ability to apply
  • Proven financial management and leadership during periods of change
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail, problem solving and follow through
  • Ability to lead and work as member of a team
  • Analytical thinking, judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to multi-task, results driven, team player, can work under tight deadlines and ability to communicate with all levels of financial and operational personnel.


Preferred experience

  • Experience in insurance, and reverse logistics industry
