Marketing Representative Field Charlotte NC

Excellent opportunity for an accomplished P & C insurance professional in the greater Charlotte NC area to join a well established, financially stable insurer. This position is tasked with growing smaller to middle market standard commercial lines business in southern NC working with independent agents. You will partner with a current field Commercial Underwriter to solicit new business from agents, train staff on company appetite and quoting procedures using company software programs. Also prospect for, appoint, and develop new agents in the territory. Three plus years of relevant experience is required. Candidates should currently be in a marketing or underwriting role with an insurance company or possibly on the Wholesale side. Commercial lines knowledge is preferred.
