$1500 Sign-On Bonus

with AAA Approved Repair Shops

The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for the expansion of our Approved Auto Repair Network of Facilities which includes Dealership Groups, Individual Dealerships, Independent Auto Repair Facilities and Corporate/Franchised Auto Repair Facilities. In this role the Business Development Specialist will utilize strategy, planning, scheduling, execution and sales skills to identify, seek out, call on and complete the sales cycle to contract prospected facilities in accordance with Club Standards and Criteria.  The Specialist will also utilize networking opportunities to develop and maintain industry relationships that should open the door to future leads. Communicating and working in conjunction with the Approved Auto Repair (AAR) team will be critical in maintaining and retaining the existing Approved Auto Repair (AAR) network. The position manages an assigned territory across all states to identify, develop and maintain strategic relationships with automotive repair business partners for the Approved Auto Repair (AAR) program. The position examines Club approved facilities for compliance with Club Standards and Criteria, contractual obligations and expectations. In addition, the position processes the necessary documents related to inspection of said facilities in compliance with all Applicable Club policies and procedures. This position demonstrates leadership in coordinating with owners, managers, service and technical staff of Approved Auto Repair (AAR) facilities on implementation of policies and procedures that ensure high quality, as well as accurate and complete diagnosis and repair of Members' vehicles in compliance with American Automobile Association (AAA) Automotive Quality Standards.

 

 

 

 

 

 


Qualifications

A 4-Year college degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.  The candidate should have business to business sales background and experience in account ownership with responsibilities of initiating and completing the sales cycle.  Sales experience in the automotive services industry or related field with the ability to develop and maintain long lasting business relationships is preferred.  A minimum of 3 years comprehensive hands on experience in the automobile repair industry is preferred.  Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification is preferred. Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written with an average level of efficiency working with Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) are required.  A valid New Mexico driver's license, with an acceptable New Mexico DMV driver's record and minimum limits of automobile liability insurance is required.
