Job Details

The Staff Engineer is responsible for design, provision, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure. The incumbent will build on their baseline of knowledge in the adoption of new technologies as well as supporting current infrastructure and vendor applications. Will assist in design for multi-tenant platforms in a single domain including hardware, software, automation and monitoring.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting end users with various applications and administration thru scripting and automation
  • Provides direct customer support through incident management as well as change or problem resolution. Document solutions and provide clear communication for all customers
  • Participate as a project member to quickly deliver infrastructure solutions via Agile methodology
  • Serves as a member on our on-call support with other specialists



Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with Linux or Windows servers
  • 1+ years of application skills in the following:
    • Scripting: PowerShell
    • Infrastructure: Exposure to Virtual Machines (HyperV, VmWare)
    • Servers: Linux / Windows
    • Database: Exposure to Microsoft SQL
    • Web Technologies: IIS, .Net Core, Java
  • Ability to communicate effectively using current tools such as MS Word, MS Excell, Outlook, Visio, and Powerpoint.
  • Ability to present and discuss information in small groups as well participate as contributing member of technical projects.
