About the job:
- Engineer and develop technical designs and processes and contribute to cloud security strategies and standards
- Develop and implement public cloud incident response uses cases, assess the effectiveness of existing controls
- Utilize cloud-based APIs when appropriate to write network/system level tools for securing cloud environments
- Identify and Implement new security technologies and best practices into Liberty Mutual's cloud ecosystems
- Provides guidance and assistance to ensure IT controls are designed to mitigate intended risks and operating effectively; ensures cloud engineering best practices are followed
- Provides technical expertise and support to clients, IT management and staff in risk assessment and the implementation of appropriate information security procedures and products
- Researches and assesses new threats and security alerts, recommends and implements remedial action
- Maintains operational excellence according to specified SLA's
- Bachelors or Master's degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience
- Generally 5+ years of professional experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills; presentation skills
- Proficient in negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills
- Proficient in new and emerging technologies
- 3+ more years' experience in the Information Security and/or relevant field, with experience supporting private and public cloud deployments, clear passion for cloud Security and Cloud technologies
- Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, security architectures, and standards, technical knowledge of Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Security Center, Microsoft E5, AWS Guard Duty, AWS Lambda
- Experience with DevOps and supporting technologies
- Able to demonstrate clear understanding of current threats to Cloud infrastructure and/or IT infrastructures at technical and managerial levels
- Experience with implementing security in a CI/CD pipeline preferred
