Our IT Audit department is responsible for auditing Liberty Mutual Group's internal control systems as well as supplementing the work of our external auditors, acting as independent consultants to operating managers, and investigating matters of dishonesty and fraud.  You will assist management by performing risk assessments and evaluating critical business processes.  As part of our team environment, you will complete audit steps using our customized IT audit approach and electronic work paper system.  Key responsibilities include interviewing personnel, performing testwork, analyzing results, and communicating audit issues. 

Responsibilities

*         Assist in the auditing of new and existing information system applications and operating environments.

*         Participate on audit project teams to complete risk assessments and control evaluations for IT areas under review.

*         Use company and audit software to analyze data, set audit scopes and complete testwork.

*         Communicate audit findings in meetings and formal reports.

*         Assist in the interpretation and communication of information to management.

Qualifications

*         0-2 years of professional experience

*         Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA.   Additional requirements might apply

*         Must have permanent work authorization in the United States

*         Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, or equivalent training

*         Attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

*         Strong interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written), organizational and leadership skills

*         Experience with technical programs including MS Office Suite and a strong working knowledge of Excel
