Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Supports the establishment of Financial Risk Management mindset through day-to-day interactions and collaboration across the GRM organization. Acts as a risk and control expert.
- Develops partnerships with GRM Finance, GRM Functional teams, Global Internal Audit and Corporate Finance, to support the control environment as business needs and processes evolve; i.e. Innovation, Global Op Model
- Actively leads team projects which are considered complex in nature with function-wide impact (e.g., strategically important, technical in nature, large budget, 12 month timeframe, etc.).
- Performs risk and control assessments, identifies opportunities for process, control and system improvements, and collaborates with business partners to ensure implementation.
- Leads the implementation of various monitoring mechanisms of GRM's control environment (e.g. GRM East and West Minimum Operating Protocols, GRM Management attestation testing, etc.) by actively working with business partners and enhances them as business needs evolve.
- Leads effective and timely resolution of Internal Audit findings across GRM regions and functional areas. Proactively identifies trends in Internal Audit Reports, reports to Senior Management and works with respective business areas, Compliance teams, etc. to build preventive/detective controls.
- Effectively collaborates with Strategic Partner, performs analysis to assist in identifying opportunities and defining project scope and objectives. May work day-to-day with Strategic Partner towards goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Finance or Accounting) required. Advanced degree preferred.
- CPA, CISA or an equivalent credential is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of finance experience.
- Must demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to drive results.
- Communicates well with own team and across the organization to ensure the successful completion of shared goals.
- Comfortable leading meetings and able to communicate issues and trends to senior management and other groups at the appropriate level of detail.
