Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Compliance, the Compliance Supervisor ensures that the agency and market documentation and materials comply with Ryan Specialty Group compliance requirements.

Essential Functions:

• Will directly supervise Compliance Associates and oversee team work flow.
• Provide timely communication with internal and external customers.
• Responsible for monitoring and ensuring timely responses to incoming email through a centralized email account tracking contract addendums, ensuring that agreements and addendums are properly executed, and properly documenting files.
• Respond to general insurance questions, including completing and submitting contract support documents.
• Oversee the maintenance of accurate and complete provider and client records in all agency management systems.
• Handle internal and regulatory audit inquiries and preparation.
• Evaluate, develop and propose procedures and policies that enhance relationships with providers, clients and other customers as needed.
• Assist in integration of mergers and acquisitions.
• Assist in operations of systems related to compliance.
• Ability to manage ad-hoc reporting at any given time with minimal turnaround time.

Education/Experience/Skills:

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or related field with a strong interest in learning about the insurance industry.
• 2-3 years experience supervising others
• Insurance Industry experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels including C Suite Executives of the organization, while maintaining and further developing strong business relationships.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and investigation.
• Ability to apply independently in a cohesive team.
• Proven ability to lead and see projects through completion.
• Critical thinking and ability to grasp a larger picture from minor details.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic situations while maintaining day to day functions.
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally with Front Office, Accounting, Tax and Finance Departments.
• Willingness to travel 5%
