Operating as a tech startup within a Fortune 100 company, we are leading a digital disruption that will redefine how people experience insurance. About the job: This is a range posting that encompasses the Senior to Principal level skill range.  We are seeking an experienced, hands-on systems analyst who is confident with a variety of tasks on technical software solutions.  Operating as part of an Agile team, the individual proactively works hands-on with various technology solutions that support the Talent Acquisition business function within Talent & Enterprise Services.  These systems are a blend of vendor-provided as well as home-built custom solutions running across local environments as well as in the private/public cloud.  The analyst role is to deeply understand the systems implemented including integration points and support this through system configuration, research, data extracts, solution testing, and partnership with developers to provide trusted, maintainable software services.   This individual delivers knowledge & solutions across three key areas of system development and support including: 
  1. Deep knowledge & understanding of vendor-provided solutions, acts as system setup expert, and maintains relationships with vendor contacts.
  2. Comprehensive knowledge of data that supports the business and how it is used and integrated across software solutions.
  3. A view on user experience and how systems are functioning, where gaps are, and works with the team to implement features and address opportunity.
 Responsibilities: 
  • Takes ownership for research into new solutions or experiences, acts as subject-matter expert for approach to accomplish a complex integrated solution that meets emerging and current business needs.  Partners with team to make recommendations to team & business owner across software, data, and user experiences.
  • Takes ownership for implementation of new solutions, generally through software configuration, establishing integration, or work with developers on custom solutions.  This includes a responsibility for testing, confirming data & experience meets expectations and business value. 
  • Takes ownership to troubleshoot production level 2 issues, coordinating across solution providers to immediately restore service, analyze impact, and identify root cause. 
  • Partners with product owner on communication to business owner, user, stakeholders, and with development team.  Helps define direction for solutions and gaps in provided technical solutions. 
  • Prioritizes focus on Vendor products, takes responsibility for relationship with provider, becomes a subject matter expert on core vendor solutions. 
  • Deeply understands the integration points between solutions, vendors and Liberty Mutual and becomes subject matter expert in the data needed, generated, and passed among the solutions. 
  • Is a subject matter expert on the solution experience, user needs, gaps and value of providing technology solutions that meet the high demands of our customers/users and those that gain value from the solution.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Generally 5+ years of professional experience.
  • General knowledge of architectures and technical standards.
  • Requires extensive knowledge in the following areas: IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies, design and development tools, extensive knowledge of a business function (s) and business operations.
  • Requires strong facilitation, consensus building skills, presentation and communication skills.
