Job Details

Define and prioritize product backlog and setting delivery quality standards for delivery. Clarify business requirements, remove roadblocks, and gain alignment around feature and product strategy. Analyze feasibility, cost ramifications, and economies of planned and potential programs. Operate at the intersection of Business, Customer-Driven Design, and Technology to deliver technical products that achieve business and technology objectives and improve customer satisfaction. Develop overall strategy and tactics for products into prioritized features and stories. Communicate product strategy to stakeholders and team members. Responsible for feature-level key performance indicators (KPI`s). Define minimum viable product (MVP) and own scrum team backlog (grooming, prioritization, and refinement). Develop test plans (user story acceptance criteria), accept stories and features, and participate in team demonstrations and retrospectives to validate quality, provide feedback to team, and improve team processes. Partner across functions as needed to coordinate delivery plans, testing, training, and support.Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, plus five years of experience including: depiction, analysis and design of complex insurance policy administration systems built in JAVA or Angular, using tools such as Lucid Chart, Microsoft Visio and communicating concepts, issues, impediments and dependencies to varied audiences including IT system architects, IT directors and senior managers; interpreting business vision, creating a plan or roadmap to deliver the vision using the JIRA tool and prioritizing using WSJF, authoring features, stories, story maps that are aligned to business objectives and KPIs; conducting real world testing, automated testing and scenario based testing using tools such as Cucumber & selenium, along with participating in release management activities that involve RIT completions using RequestIT tool; Agile development methodologies and IT project management; planning and communication tools including JIRA, RTC, and Confluence; and working with property and casualty (P&C) insurance platforms including policy processing systems, underwriting platforms, reference guides, and portals.
