Job Description
The Continuous Improvement (CI) deployment family is responsible for deploying the CI management system to improve the customer experience, agency owner experience, and business outcomes by empowering employees to improve how the work gets done. Their objective is to work with the business unit to integrate Customer, Culture, and Cost across the five CI lenses of process efficiency, organizational health, performance management, organizational design and skills and the customer and agency owner experience.
The Deployment Consultant II is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the Continue Improvement management system impacting business from a holistic view.
Key Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and implements simple Continue Improvement management system deployment
- Assists team in working with business unit SMEs to acquire data necessary for the CI diagnostic
- Depending on complexity of work, analyzes results to identify top opportunity areas for the business area
- Works with clients to capture requirements, drafts communications, and supports the development of key questions to probe clients for requirements
- Acts as a contact for clients, answering questions on projects, services, and any specific topics related to projects
- Conducts research of best practices and company benchmarking for CI projects. Performs information gathering, analysis and documentation; apply appropriate methodology with little guidance and direction
- Participates in discussions with CI team members on the need for change and ability to communicate how it will benefit the organization
- Works with team members to identify process improvements and develop specific actionable plans
- Partners with the CI members to solve problems and remove barriers
- Leads in the development of simple solutions to address opportunities identified
- Assists with all logistics relative to the changes implemented consider downstream effects to other parts of the organization
- Develops detailed project, milestone plans and estimates for projects
- Supports CI team with the development of Standard Process documents in business areas
- Provide input into tasks needed for to complete work
- Organizes work into logical segments that will create the most efficiency in completing tasks
- Tracks work and completion of activities; Communicates status of project activities in a timely manner to key stakeholders
- Builds, cultivates, and maintains long term relationships
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Intermediate communication skills - written & verbal
- Intermediate presentation skills
- Intermediate project management skills
- Openness to change
- Willingness to set goals and achieve results by working with leadership team to drive new paths to efficiently and effectively deliver results
- Ability to work well with others, to build credibility quickly, and to improve a teams performance
- Ability to identify root causes, and develop pragmatic recommendations
- Ability to deal with conflict and manage multiple accountabilities in a fast paced environment
