Job Description
The Enterprise Learning Senior Consultant II is responsible for delivering a broad scope of learning initiatives to internal clients by applying professional judgment, knowledge, experience and a broad perspective. The individual will assist in the development, implementation, and delivery of routine and/or innovative solutions that support enterprise learning with minimal supervision. Completes assignments of diverse scope and moderate to high complexity, coordinates activities, and impacts project-and team-results.
Key Responsibilities
- Able to manage training sessions to meet the attendees needs/skill levels while maintaining control and structure of the class
- Experience or knowledge of instructional design and delivery
- Partner in the design and develop instructional materials (e.g. tutorials, job aids, reference guides, audio and video scripts, story boards, navigational text, tests, eLearning, etc.) that transform complex information into professionally written, interactive multimedia instruction
- Identify new and emerging technology-based approaches to enhance current instructional delivery methods
- Assist with the planning, development, coordination, and review of educational programs to ensure effective course materials. Identify additional information needed to support business objectives and improve programs
- Monitor and analyze results for those who have attended education to confirm understanding of training
- Prepare education materials for classes, and workshops both live and virtual
- Develops and uses innovative solutions for virtual education delivery
- Clearly and completely document all training provided
- Acquires and uses knowledge about the client organization and business in executing leadership development activities; ensures and maintains an understanding of overall business unit strategies and priorities
- Partners to create enterprise learning media, learning content, and activities
- Facilitates formal learning events and activities
- Analyzes and interprets data to draw conclusions to help drive enterprise learning solutions
- Ability to solve a range of moderate to high complexity problems; analyzes possible solutions given experience
- Builds effective relationships within and across the team as well as with clients
- Manages the expectations of clients and internal partners; present facts and information to negotiate a mutually acceptable solution
- Partners with vendors to ensure effective delivery of services
- Researches enterprise learning solutions and draft options to improve client service
- Maintains knowledge of enterprise learning trends through best practice research, internal/external benchmarking, participation in professional associations, etc.
- Creates basic queries and learning reports and measurement analyses
- Actively participates as a member of the Learning Effectiveness Teams, providing input and thought leadership related to solution design alternatives and recommendations
- Maintains project documents, plans, and measurement for all facilitated offerings
- Ability to work independently as well as thrive in a matrixed team environment
- Partner in the design and develop instructional materials (e.g. tutorials, job aids, reference guides, audio and video scripts, story boards, navigational text, tests, eLearning, etc.) that transform complex information into professionally written, interactive multimedia instruction.
- Support established adult learning methodologies to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate enterprise and AOR learning programs.
- Be aware of and operate within budget
- Some travel is required
Job Qualifications
- Professional with strong organizational, communication (both verbal and written) and administrative skills
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of business software
- Strong Project Management Skills
- Demonstrate facilitation skills and ability to speak effectively to groups
- Ability to work in a team-centered environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to organize and self manage time
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication techniques for audiences at multiple internal levels
- Strong work ethic with commitment to high performance, quality and service excellence
- Advanced time management skills including ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and organize
- Ability to establish, manage and leverage relationships with internal and external partners
- Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and capability to perform in ambiguous situations
- Experience and Education Required:
- Education: Four- year degree preferred. Advanced degree and/or related certification a plus.
- Experience: 1-2 years facilitation experience, instructional design experience,
- Experience with development of training programs, experience in learning and development, or other relevant field reporting metrics, etc. strong pluses
